मैं बेटी हूँ…
मेरी आई, रमाई और सावित्रीमाई की…
बेटी हूँ बाबासाहेब और ज्योतिबा की,
बेटी हूँ प्यारे आई–दादा की,
आज जहाँ भी हूँ!
इन्ही के संघर्ष के वजह से,
उन्होने मुझे ताकत दी, की बेटे जैसे नहीं;
बल्की उससे बढ़कर लढुं, !! 1 !!
मैं बेटी हूँ,` …
इस नारी से अन्याय करने वाले समाज मे,
खुलकर जीऊँ,
एक सांस ऐसी भरूँ की दम न घुटे,
एक आवाज़ ऐसी लगाऊँ की फिर कभी न दबे,
मेरे सामने है लक्ष्य,
और रुकावटें है अनेक,
पर मंजिल पे है ध्यान मेरा ,
और इरादे है नेक !! 2 !!
मैं बेटी हूँ …
डरकर जीना छोड़ दिया मैंने,
लोगो ने बताई हुई कमजोरीयो को,
ताकत बना लिया मैंने,
कट जाउंगी, मिट जाउंगी,
पर स्वाभिमान को अपने न झुकाऊँगी,
मेरे आई–दादा ने देखे हुए सपने को पूरा कर दिखाऊँगी !! 3 !!
मैं बेटी हूँ !! हाँ मैं बेटी हूँ !!
Rupali Bansode is currently working as a Program Officer in a project called ‘M East Ward Project’, at TISS.
She says:
‘I have done my Masters in Women’s Studies from TISS and my Bachelors in Political Science from K.J Somaiya. For my thesis I worked on ‘Life of Female Tamasha Artists’, geographically focusing on Pune and Ahmednagar districts. And working on a research paper on this topic.
Writing poetry is an act which enables me to define what I am thinking. For me sharing with people what I am feeling at times is really difficult, at such moments writing poems helps me a lot. I feel really beautiful after reading my own compositions, I feel so one with it. It’s a magical feeling which cannot be described in words.’

Mai jnnani hun,ishwar k baad janam dene ki kshmta prakriti ne mujhe di hai..mai kali hun,jahan pe yeh sara jahan ,prakash ko paane ki lalsa rkhta hai..mai ussaye bhi prrae hun(kala),..mai shant hun, sunderta meri pribhasha hai,shiv toh khud shav hai mere bina ,uski ki bi shkti hun mai,.
