I already have broken the wall

Pradnya Bhim Sindhu

They talk of feminization of social…. Work…. Change

They said sexuality should be addressed

Feminism is an empire

its multicultural discrimination

They are always searching for different constituencies

formulated waves, revisiting the uncleared work.

They said its useless to have social change dialogues without women

They said why don’t (women)?

They said it’s an identity crisis….

I wondered about whom they were talking

I wonder about whom are they thinking

I wonder about whom they are so very concerned.

I struggled to find the answer;

I struggled to find meaning for the words they used

It was ‘me’

It’s ‘me’

Again I asked question(s) to myself

Why are they talking on my behalf ?

Why are they glorifying?

Who are they?

I am now throttled…

I am gasping…

Why don’t they understand?

I couldn’t wait…

I couldn’t tolerate…

I already have broken the wall……..

and yes, broke the wall when they had turned their back on me…where were they then when i was dying, frantically calling for help. There was not an iota of empathy, of oneness in their eyes then. They had even throw stones at me with the rest. Aghast, I had then see the difference between them and us, the distance between them and us, which I beg they created.

So, why now after I have broken the wall, they come around and talk of me like my saviours. I am here, my dear, and I can talk for myself – for I have broken the wall 🙂
